Ariadne had arranged a peaceful, quiet life she for herself after the Fischer job. And then he showed up. All smiles and charm that sent her head in a frenzy. It seemed like every time he was in town, he would visit her and she would be conveniently available. She knew the kind of work he was still involved in and the risks that came with it. But she didn't think that he would be under surveillance or that anyone would notice his infrequent visits to Paris.

But someone had found out about her. Someone had been in her apartment and was looking for something other than money. They even went to the trouble of leaving her a note. A friendly enough note to try and inspire her to come out of retirement. That sickeningly sweet kind of note that felt like it was laced with cobra venom. They wanted an Architect.

She called the only person she could think of.

"Hey..."

She immediately wrapped that leg around his hips and pulled him flush against her, moaning as he played with her. Crying out she came again, her body tightening even more around him. "Arthur-!"

It was enough to do him in, coming hard as he bit her shoulder and grunted, his hips stuttering.

She cried out from the pain and the pleasure, her breathing labored. She leaned forward to kiss his sweaty forehead as she still pulled at her restraints.

Arthur stilled as he caught his breath before pulling her blindfold off. "Okay?"

She nodded, her eyes adjusting to the light again. "More than good." Kissing him, she ran her tongue over his lips, asking them politely to part for her.

He opened his mouth to her, kissing her deeply.

She moaned into his mouth, letting her tongue play with his. Her leg remained thoroughly wrapped around him, she didn't want him to pull out yet and leave her feeling emptied again.

He let go of her other leg as they kissed so he could pinch her nipples.

She squeaked into his mouth. The new pain not unwelcome as she wrapped her other leg around him.

"Let me untie you," he said against her lips. He reached up and untied her from the bed and then undid the knot around her wrists.

Nodding, she kept kissing him while he released her wrists. They were red from her struggling but it didn't look too bad. Her hands went to cup his face.

He kissed her back just as passionately. "I've got a question."

"Hmm?" she kissed him feverishly.

"You're on birth control, right?" He asked against her lips. "Are you having sex with anyone else?" He wouldn't be upset if she was. They weren't exclusive.

She let out a laugh; her chest had been tightening with his tone. "I'm not sleeping with anyone else Arthur." she went back to kissing him. "And I am on birth control."

"Then do we want to get tested so we don't have to use condoms?" He asked, slightly distracted by her lips.

"That would be decent of us." she breathed against his lips. "You did feel rather good."

He grinned. "Good, I'll schedule an appointment soon then."

"Is this your way of asking a girl of being exclusive to you?" she asked with a chuckle between kisses.

"Is that your way of asking me to be your boyfriend?" He asked with a smirk.

She couldn't help but laugh. "Way to be elusive there."

"I suppose we should make it official since we're part of the way there." He thought he would run away at the word boyfriend but he wasn't. He didn't mind the word at all.

She smiled before her look turned slightly serious, her face pulling back to look at him without the distraction of his lips. "Are you sure?"

"Yes," he replied simply. "I like you, a lot. And you're different than anyone else I've been with. When I say goodbye to you, I'm instantly missing you. That's never happened with anyone else."

That tightening feeling in her chest returned. She smiled as she tried to hold back her tears. She wasn't usually this emotional, perhaps it was just the day's exertions catching up with her. "I... I like you too Arthur."
